# Utils Package AI Agent Instructions (`packages/utils`)

## 1. Responsibilities

- Currency & number formatting: `formatRupiah`, `formatIDR`, `formatNumber`, `formatRupiahShort`.
- Money parsing: `parseMoney` (converts input strings/numbers to standardized `numeric(15,2)` string).
- Date formatting: `formatDate`.
- Transaction safety: `newIdempotencyKey` (generates `km-<timestamp>-<random>` for idempotent mutations).

## 2. Modification Rules

1. Functions must be pure and free of DOM or platform-specific dependencies.
2. Must run cleanly in both Node.js (SSR / tests) and Browser (Vue SPA).
3. Run tests: `pnpm --filter @keluargamart/utils test`.
